Hi! I’m Ariel. A queer Jewish Middle Eastern performer born and raised in Israel and Canada, currently living in NYC with my wife, Anastasia, and our dog, Beatrice.
I started my career as gymnast, before my grandmother convinced me to audition for an Opera named, “The Tender Land”.
I auditioned. I booked (#bookedandblessed). I performed. I was hooked.
Nowadays, I still tumble and flip around, but I mostly turn, kick-ball-change and jump. My main focus is truthful & accessible storytelling, with a focus on musical theater.
I care deeply about telling authentic stories on stage, with a focus on queer, female, Jewish, MENA and Israeli work. All while making sure that we continue to share the joy of the art form with all who are interested and curious. Sharing our art is vital now more than ever
I am passionate about uplifting Middle Eastern and Jewish voices in theatre, and hope to bridge a gap in cultural differences within the theater industry to a more collaborative, diverse and inclusive space with stories that accurately represent us all.
