Hi! I’m Ariel. A queer Jewish Middle Eastern performer born and raised in Israel and Canada, currently living in NYC with my partner, Anastasia, and my dog, Beatrice.
My career started out with gymnastics (I was very good at it, if I do say so myself). But then my grandmother convinced me to audition for an Opera named, “The Tender Land”.
I auditioned. I booked (#bookedandblessed). I performed. I was hooked.
Nowadays, I still tumble and flip around, but I mostly turn, kick-ball-change and jump. My main focus is truthful and accessible Musical Theatre storytelling.
I care deeply about telling authentic stories on stage, with a focus on queer, Jewish and Israeli work. All while making sure that we continue to share the joy of the art form with all who are interested and curious.
I am currently living the hustle and bustle of NYC, singing and dancing through. I am passionate about Middle Eastern and correct Jewish representation in Theatre, and hope to change the industry were in to a more diverse and inclusive one!
